This is kind of a special caption for me.  I've taken a page out of Chirenon's (over at Male Protection ) book, and decided to show a scene from one of my favorite stories.  The story is entitled The Picture Album (by an author simply named Brit on Fictionmania) , and it deals with a spurned high school girl who inherits a picture album from her grandmother.  She soon finds that anything she puts in the picture album comes true, so she starts altering reality.  First, she makes herself popular.  Then, she starts changing the most popular boy in school into an effeminate sissy.  I'm not sure why I like the story so much, but it's easily one of my favorites.  I hope I did the scene justice, and maybe it will inspire some of you to read this great story.

It was actually quite difficult to get this one right -- I started over like five times.

I'm gonna be a star!

I had this picture modified and set in its background, and ready for a caption when I just blanked.  I had no idea what I wanted the caption to say.  So it just sat there for almost a month until yesterday when I finally broke down and wrote a caption for it.  It's a great picture, and I really love the background so I hope the caption does it justice.

Time to get to work.

This is an idea I've had in my head for quite a while, but I hadn't really put it into a caption.  I've hinted at it -- you know, the sissy who, when he thinks of sex, he thinks of taking it like...well, a sissy should.  Using his penis doesn't even cross his mind.  Anyway, that's where this caption came from.  Hope you all like it.

Cover yourself up!

This is a really simple caption, but I think it says a lot.

Use your imaginations.

I left the caption intentionally vague.  I only specified that the antagonist is a foreign billionaire with an axe to grind in regards to the U.S.  You can use your imagination as to who he is.

This picture was actually kind of difficult to modify, but I really, really like how it turned out.  I hope you're as pleased with it as I am.

He did it for me.

I like explorations of love and sexuality.  Can a straight man love another man?  Can a lesbian love a man?  Of course.  But are they attracted to those people?  Sometimes.  Sometimes not.  That's where this little story comes from.  I hope you like it.

A Not-So-Chirstmas-y Caption

I thought about making a Christmas caption, but, to be honest, I simply didn't have the time to search for a suitable picture.  So I'm posting one I finished a while back.  It had a few typos in it, and I was simply waiting to post it until I fixed them.

Anyway, I hope you all have a Merry Christmas.  Enjoy being with your friends and family.

Does Crime Pay?

I like the idea of the hyper-masculine man finding out that he is, in fact, a sissy.  Maybe it's my belief that many of these men act like they do because, deep down, in a place they don't even permit themselves to look, lay the seed of a sissy.  Sometimes it's a curiosity about what it's like to be with a man.  Other times, it's a long-buried desire to be pretty.  Still other times, it's jealousy of women.  But it's there.  They want to be sissies; our culture has simply made it impossible for them to admit it.

But what happens when those men are forced to confront those feelings?  That's where this caption came from.  Did I do a good job of conveying it?  I don't know.  But I think that turning a gangster into a sissy sex slave is hot, so there's that.  Hope you do too.

Just Say Yes.

This picture is just so great, but it took me a while to think up a story to go with it.

Making new friends...

Seeing himself in a new light...

Oftentimes, we are the the absolute worst judges of our own looks.  I've known beautiful people who thought they were downright homely, and less-than-attractive people who thought they were models.  So it is with effeminate men.  Most of the time, they don't even realize it (even though everyone else does).  But that's okay; maybe one day someone will come along who accepts and encourages their natural femininity.  That's where this caption came from.  I hope you all like it.

I can't believe how easy it was!

Ah, another gender role reversal caption.  I love thinking of these, and I love writing them.  However, I know that they're a bit extreme (in regards to their actual plausibility), but I do think that cultural expectation is a very powerful thing.  You need look no further than some of the ridiculous fashion trends we've adopted over the years.  Would boys wear skirts if it was the latest fashion?  Maybe.  Maybe not.  But it's fun to imagine that they would.

Do I look like a man?

I haven't done one of these in a while, so I figured it was time.  This one is mostly just to show off the modified image (took forever, by the way), and I am very, very pleased with the result.

At least he has a girlfriend.

I really enjoyed creating this caption  I'm not sure what it is; it's a pretty simple design.  But everything about it is solid work.  The picture (and manipulation of said image), the story, and the background all came together very nicely.

I hope you all like it.

Butterflies

I love this picture.  It took some heavy, heavy modification, but I think it fits the caption perfectly.

The writing is on the...well, you can read it.

Just this once...

Not only do I like the idea of a boy who just can't help being a sissy (no matter how much he tries to deny it), but I also love the idea of otherwise straight guys trying to get in those sissies' panties.  I think that what I like about it is that these boys are so far from being considered male that it doesn't even entire the guys' minds that what they're doing might be considered homosexual.

I also love the idea of the accepted sissy.  You know...where society just accepts that sissies exist, and everyone kind of takes advantage of it.  But that's a different story altogether.

Anyway, this caption hits on those themes.  I like the picture because we all know exactly what's going to happen next.  The fact that it isn't shown makes it a little more erotic, I think.  And I just wanted to make a simple background that wouldn't distract the viewer.  All in all, I really like how this one turned out.  Hope you do too!

Maybe he's born with it...

I was really pleased with how this background turned out.  I have to fight the urge to make everything fit perfectly; I know that irregularities are what make the backgrounds look unique.  But my mind always wants to make sure that each edge lines up, that each side is a mirror image of the other.

The picture/caption combination is good, and I'm happy with it as well.  Hope you like it.

Qualified for the job...

This was a fun one to write.  Hope you all like it.

Honesty

I think the stand-out for this caption is the layout.  I really, really like the way it came together.

I hope you'll excuse the typos in my captions.  I usually type them in a bit of a hurry, and only rarely do I actually proofread them.  Going back into them after they've been rendered is a pain in the butt, so I usually just let typos go.

All man...

Ah, the unaware boy again.

I love this picture so much.  The background is playful, and the caption is pretty nice as well.

No Regrets

I love this picture on its own, but I almost didn't use it because I didn't need to modify it at all.  I really enjoy modifying these pictures; I do at least a little to almost every picture I caption.  The fun part is making it subtle enough that very few people notice it.  But this picture was so good, I didn't want to change it.

I hope you all like the caption that goes with it.

Practice makes perfect.

This picture was kind of difficult to get right, but I think I did a good job.  I'm pleased with the result, at least.

Making a good background is a tricky thing.  Too simple, and it's boring; too complicated, and it's distracting.  I've made geometrically perfect backgrounds before, and they all seem to lack personality.  So, with this one, I made the decorative parts a little "off."  And I love it.

The caption is just your run-of-the-mill look at a boy who is so smitten that he'll do whatever his significant other wants.

I hope you all like it.

When he meets the right man...

This is a great picture; I didn't have to modify it one little bit.  I love the caption and the background as well.  I hope you all like it too.

Paparazzo

We've all seen it, haven't we?  A young Hollywood star or starlet gets caught in an embarrassing situation by a paparazzo, and their careers take a nosedive.  Sure, it's hard to feel sorry for them; after all, their decisions should have consequences.  But at the same time, we have to remember that every moment of their lives is public.  They don't get to make innocent mistakes.  They don't get to experiment...

It's easy to forget that they're just people.  They have dreams.  They make poor decisions just like the rest of us.  The only difference is that their mistakes are laid bare for the entire world to see (and usually mock with a holier-than-thou attitude).  And each time one of those mistakes goes public, they run the risk of losing all hope at accomplishing their dreams, of reaching their goals.  And that's sad, to me.

Am I making excuses for them?  Of course not.  They own those mistakes.  I'm just saying that we should perhaps have a little more empathy for them when their every move (mistake or otherwise) is catalogued by some gossip magazine.

That's where this caption comes from.  I hope you like it.

Fantasy Football

Because I can...

This one picture was actually kind of hard to get right, but I think it turned out well.  The layout is fun yet simple, and the caption is an interesting concept.

I hope you all like it!

When I write, I look for a hook which can really drive the narrative.  One of the best hooks is the person who will do anything to be close to what he/she loves -- be it another person, a situation, or something else.

When it involves another person, it can go one of two ways -- sweet (I love you!) or creepy (I sometimes watch you sleep through your bedroom window!).  With situations, though, it's a lot murkier.  Maybe someone wants to be friends with the popular crowd, so they do things they normally wouldn't.  Or perhaps someone wants to be close to the boss, so he/she brown noses a bit (or a lot -- you know who you are!).  You get the idea.

This caption is a good representation of that idea.  I hope you like it.

I really enjoyed making this background for some reason.  I think it turned out pretty well.

If you wish upon a star...

I don't like magical changes.  Sure, I realize that there isn't much difference between some of my science fiction transformations and their magical counterparts, but, to me, it's a fine line.  I much prefer magic to affect a person's mentality rather than their physical form.  This caption captures that, I think.

New Workout Outfit

As anyone who visits this site knows, I really like the idea of the unaware or naive male.  I know it's completely unrealistic, but I like to imagine a boy who simply likes to be pretty.  So he dresses as such, and doesn't even realize that he looks and acts like a girl.

It's really not *that* far-fetched.  Or the idea isn't, at least.  Lots of guys act very femininely, and don't realize it.  Sure, I'm taking it to an extreme, but...well, I like it. : )

I hope you do too!

What goes around comes around.

I think this caption's presentation turned out really, really well.  It's a simple design, but I like it.

The picture didn't require much modification (just a touch, really), and it really looks good.

The story is an old concept, but I like how it turned out.  In short, I think this is solid work.  Hope you enjoy it.

A Tatoo

I liked the premise of this story -- that a single decision spins wildly out of control with very unintended consequences.

I've gotten pretty good at "flattening" these models.  Considering I've only been using Photoshop for about 8 months, I think I've made really, really good progress.  I can always get better, though.

I hope you all like it!

I like being looked at.

I had high hopes for this picture when I found it.  It's such a feminine activity, putting on makeup.  The caption turned out okay, but it's not my best work.  I do like the soft colors of the background though.  It kind of invites you to relax and just go with it.

Hope you like it.

A New Way

I wrote this caption a few weeks ago, and I have to say, I really like the idea.  I admit that sometimes I get caught up in the back story of my captions.  I can't help it.  I always want to make everything "make sense."  So I find myself concocting these alternate histories/futures where my captions and stories achieve that goal.

Rather than try to focus on that world-building in a caption which should tell a simple story, I chose to make a caption telling the history.  And I think it works magnificently well.  The picture is very sexy and the caption tells an interesting back story.

For some reason, I love making these kind of plaid backgrounds.  They aren't easy to get right, but I do like the way they turn out.

Hope you all enjoy this one.

I just wanna dance!

I think I enjoyed making this background more than I liked writing the caption or selecting the picture.  I'm not certain why either -- it was actually a really simple process. But I think it just turned out well.

Take a hint!

I did not do a very good job on this picture.  It's the water -- it makes it so hard to get things right.  I almost didn't use it, but I decided to write a caption anyway.  Well, as it turns out, I love the caption.  So, I'll just ask for you to use your imaginations.

I've got a feeling (that tonight's gonna be a good night)...

Enjoy!

It was your idea.

There's something about the background for this particular caption which I absolutely adore.  The picture and the photo go reasonably well together, too, so that's a plus.  I hope you all like it.

Bunny

This photo was really well done, I think.  And the caption was easy to write.  It sort of just flowed.

Happy Thanksgiving!

"Male" Prostitute

I was watching an episode of HBOs "Hung" the other day, and I got the idea for this caption.  For those who don't know, the show is about a man who becomes a male prostitute with a female pimp.  Role reversal aside, it's a pretty good show, and some of you may be interested in the fact that it had a TG-related pair of episodes recently.  Anyway, I got the idea for this caption.

The picture isn't my best manipulation, but it's far from my worst. I absolutely love the background, though.

I hope you all like it.

Sometimes you can judge a book by its cover...

I really enjoyed writing this caption.  The picture is fun, and the little story fits it perfectly.  And the background was interesting to create.  Hope you all like it.

Yay! It's published!

It's done.  I finished it today, so I figured I'd go ahead and publish A Warrior Reborn on Smashwords.  The way Smashwords works is that the work is available immediately online via its listing on Smashwords (in a variety of formats -- HTML, ePub, etc.), but it takes a week or two to become available on individual devices such as the Kindle, iPads, iPhones, etc.

So if you decide to read it on your computer, I recommend that you download the Kindle viewer, and read that version.  It's the best in terms of formatting.

As to the content, the first 60% of the book is previously available here or on Fictionmania.  The last 40% is all new material, and wraps up the tale.

I put it up for 2.99 -- the book is on par with other erotic fiction (even cheaper than some) and contains quite a bit more content than is typical.  Either way, I hope you all get the chance to read it.

The link to the book is as follows:

Life After Stardom

I wrote this caption before I had a picture, and I think it's a nice twist on the "actress going into porn" stereotype.

The Cover Art for A Warrior Reborn

I've finished the cover art for A Warrior Reborn.  Followers of this blog will probably recognize that the source image (which I overlaid with my my own painting) was used in a previous blog post.  I think it's changed significantly enough that I don't mind reusing it.  Anyway, I'd definitely like to get your opinions on it before publishing.

Here it is.

How do nice guys finish again? Oh yeah...

I like the idea of a backfired plan.  It's just fun to imagine the unintended consequences of a schemer's plans.  This caption focuses on that theme.

A Warrior Reborn is completely finished now (I might put in an epilogue, but I haven't decided). All I have to do now is formatting and cover art.  So, we're on schedule for a Tuesday 11/22 release.

On another note, I wanted to acknowledge that we passed 100 followers here.  Yay!

Life-Changing Choices

Was it a mistake? Or was it a clever plan? The world may never know.

When I saw this picture, I knew immediately what the caption would look like.  It took a LOT of modification, but I finally tailored the picture to fit the dialogue I had in mind.  And I think it turned out wonderfully.

I fully intended to save this caption for a more appropriate date (Valentine's Day), but I just couldn't help myself.  I'm impatient.  That's just the way I am.  I guess I'll just have to make another Valentine's Day themed caption in February.

Househusband

Usually, when I do role-reversal, I tend to set it in a world where it's widespread.  Men are feminine and women are masculine.  However, there is something that can be said for the isolated reversal where a particular husband and wife switch roles for their own reasons.  This is one of the latter.

Fans have to watch something, right?

This is one of my favorite captions I've done because it follows a logical (if far-fetched) progression from a real-world issue, and it ends up with something of a role reversal trend.

The picture is also  a very good piece of work (I don't mind tooting my own horn when I think I deserve it...which isn't very often).  I'm quite proud of this piece, and I hope you all like it as much as I do.

Beauty has no gender.

This picture actually took quite a bit of modification, but I think it turned out fantastically.  I really like the idea that eventually, the idea of the beautiful, feminine man will one day become mainstream.  If it did, I imagine that publications such as Playboy would feature male models.  In the realm of my fictitious ad campaign, it's not a stretch that those models would then speak up, and urge other boys to follow in their footsteps.

I know this might be getting a little far afield from my normal captions, but I do really enjoy making these little advertisements.  I hope you like them too.

Another Sissy and Proud Advertisement

I love the idea of an activist group which promotes the idea of male femininity.  We're not quite there yet as a society, but it can't be that far off.  There are groups which advocate acceptance of nearly every other demographic -- why not boys who are, by nature, feminine?  Too often, those boys (and their female counterparts who are masculine) are forced by our society to conform to the traditional views of how their gender should comport themselves.

So, I made up a little fictitious ad campaign promoting the acceptance of feminine boys (dubbed sissies).  The campaign is named Sissy and Proud.  Do I think such a campaign would be as risque as I like to make it?  Of course not.  But I can't help myself.

Anyway, here's the banner/billboard.
