Test Subject Two: The Personal Trainer

This series chronicles two seriously unethical researchers as they try to determine whether or not the masculine gender role is genetic or if it is learned.

The first in this series can be found HERE .

I've had this one on my plate for quite a while now, but I just haven't had the time to complete it until now.  I hope you all like it.

Male Femininity and Gender Role Reversal

I remember a while back, one of the sites I really, really liked kind of disappeared.  I'm not sure what happened, but one day it was there, the next, it wasn't.

The name of that site was Male Femininity and Gender Role Reversal...I'm sure some of you have visited it before.  Anyway, it's back.  You can visit it HERE .

It's just like it sounds -- a site dedicated to feminine men and gender role reversal.  It usually has really nice content, and I figured I'd give it a plug since it was one of the sites that inspired me to create my own.

Backed Against a Wall

I had the idea for this caption as I lay in bed last night, trying to go to sleep.  One of the things I'm cognizant of is that some of my "heroines" really aren't.  They change these boys for completely selfish reasons.  Sure, I do like to tie a little ribbon around it, and make sure that it all works out usually, but that doesn't change the fact that what they've done is wrong.

So, I wanted to write a caption with a completely justified heroine -- you know, a woman who lives up to that moniker.  I decided to write a story with an abused wife as my protagonist.

I hope you all like the caption.

Sometimes, you're just in the right place at the right time.

I've had this scenario in the back of my mind for years, but I had never written anything about it.   I love how the caption came together, too.  The picture...well, it's okay I guess.  I have issues when I'm working with a previously altered picture.  Before I started working with Photoshop, I would never have noticed it.  Some of it is really subtle.  This one...not so much.  I knew at first glance that something was off, but it took me getting down to the pixels to really figure out what was wrong.  So, I had to fix that first, and then alter it to fit my needs (which meant reducing the breast size to almost nothing).  It's not horrible, but it's far from the best I've done.

More Visitors!

I just wanted to remind you all that this is a relatively new site, and that we need to get the word out.  You obviously like my work, so share it.  If you visit a similarly themed site on a regular basis, suggest it to those who visit that site.  If you run a similarly themed site, link to here (I try to return any links I get).

And, I wanted to thank those of you who have already done this.  I do enjoy seeing thousands of pageviews a day.

Thanks for being fans, you all.

The Bachelorette Party

This caption kind of had a mind of its own...and that's how I like it.  It practically wrote itself.  I just set up the situation, and it flowed out.

I've always had a fascination with a boy getting treated like a woman by male strippers.  We've all seen the videos (or if you haven't, go look up Dancing Bear on Google) of women going crazy at these stripper parties.  I like the idea of a boy going to one of these, and giving in the same way they do (and getting treated just like one of the girls).  So that's where this caption came from.

The photo manipulation isn't perfect (I'm always trying to get better!), but it is light years ahead of where I was even a few months ago.  I think I'm really starting to understand how to work with colors in Photoshop.

As to the background, it's very, very basic.  It's not nearly as cool as the one I did for my previous set of photos, but I think it's effective all the same.

Hope you enjoy it.

Catching Up With an Old Friend

I really liked this set of photographs.  The modifications were a pain in the butt, but I think they turned out pretty well.  And I love the captions.  Enjoy.
